E. Doctor Smith is a musician, producer and recording artist with Edgetone Records, who has worked with the likes of Brian Eno, Madonna, Warren Zevon, Mickey Hart and many others. He is also the Arts & Entertainment editor for Beyond Chron and inventor of the musical instrument, the Drummstick!

“I’m currently recording my upcoming album “FutureJazz” on the Edgetone Records label, with guitarist Peter McKibben, and featuring flautist Laura Austin Wiley, as well as performing and recording in Laura Austin Wiley’s Electric Quartet, featuring keyboardist Steve McQuarry and bassist Ted Burik. I can also be found playing with bansurist John Wubbenhorst’s Facing East group, featuring 7 string fretless bassist Jason Everett.
